LOUGHBOROUGH - HALL CHANGE - due to hall floor being re-surfaced.
at Loughborough will be moved back to the old hall (Radmoor Centre) from
Sunday 30th OCTOBER to WEDNESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER - 2 weeks.

SYSTON CLUB - TO TRAIN IN DANCE STUDIO FOR MONTH OF JANUARY 2012.

SEMINAR - MR RON SERGIEW-8TH DAN - Saturday 12th November.
Seminar on motivation in Tae Kwon-do.
Held at: Radmoor Centre, Radmoor Rd. Loughborough. LE11 3BT.
For all grades - Yellow & Green Belt juniors need to see Instructor if they wish to go. Star Graders - you are expected to attend this seminar or it may affect your next grading. TICKETS COST: £15.00 each.

BLACK BELT DO - Friday 18th November
Celebrating those students who recently passed their Black Belt grades. Held at: Britannia Inn, Queniborough. ~ Time: 7.30-11.00pm REMEMBER - you don't have to be a Black Belt to come along !!! TICKET COST: £10.00 (includes food - see Instructor)

BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS - 27th November Held at: Telford International Arena.
No training at Loughborough & Syston on this day. Get entry form & info off your Instructor. PLEASE CAN ALL COMPETITORS CHECK THEIR SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR ANY RIPS/TEARS ETC AS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SPAR WITH DAMAGED KIT !!!

CENTER PARCS WINTER CAMP - Information will be with YOU shortly.

NEXT COLOURED BELT GRADING - Sunday 11th December. HELD AT: Loughborough.

BLACK BELT FIGHT NIGHT - Wednesday 21st December. Time: 6.30-9.30pm

LICENCE RENEWALS
Please note - there will be a £10.00 fine to any student who hands their licence re-newal form back late !! Forms must be handed in - 2 weeks before expiry date.

NEWSLETTER – July 2011

SYSTON CLUB -
Starting Sunday 7th August - Sunday afternoon classes will be as follows:
4-5pm - Beginners up to Blue Tags
5-6pm - Blue Belts & Above
Black Belts can attend-both sessions if they wish.
NO - 6-7pm CLASS!

LOUGHBOROUGH -
We are now training in the new hall which is just 50 yards up from old building. Best place to park is the other side of the bus bollard - you will need to drive round to the other side of Radmoor Road to get there (drive up main road past college-with uni on your left, turn right at big roundabout, then turn right at temple).

TRAINING FEES -
Can all students/parents who pay their fees by cash - please put it in an envelope with your name, grade & amount on it, as this makes it easier on payment day. Also can all students make sure they get their payment cards stamped when fees are paid - as sometimes mistakes can happen and this is your proof of payment. If you have lost your payment card - please ask for another one.

PLEASE REMEBER - i
I f you take a break i.e. Holiday etc - then training fees are paid exactly the same as if you are training, as hall hire fees have to be paid. You can make up your missed lessons by training at the other clubs - or doing extra hours when you come back.

BANK HOLIDAY - NO TRAINING
No training on Friday 26th August at - Tigers Class & Mountsorrel Patterns night.
Also - No training on Sunday 27th November due to 'British Championships'.

Sat 22nd October - Grantham, Lincoln Championships (which we've won for the last 4 years!!!)
27th November - British Championships - International Centre, Telford. (NO TRAINING THIS DAY).

COLOURED BELT GRADING.
Next grading is on Sunday 18th September. Held in new hall at Loughborough. 9.30am start.

FRIDAY NIGHTS
We are trying to set up a 'special' opportunity for those students who want to improve their patterns for competition.
Held on the 1st Friday of every month - 7.30-9.00pm
held at: Mountsorrel Methodist Church, Church Hill Rd. Mountsorrel. Loughborough. LE12 7JB.
The session will be run by - Mr. James McKenna-6th Dan. Will cost £8.00.

Held at: Wreake Valley College, Parkstone Rd. Syston Leicester. (sports hall round back of school).

If you are grading - you have to attend all 3 of the above sessions !
If you are not grading - you must attend one of the above sessions.
If you cannot make any of the above sessions - you must let your Instructor know so that you can attend another session in a different area.

REFEREES COURSES - PART ONE AND TWO – 5thNovember.

CENTER P ARCS TRAINING CAMP
For those who are attending our winter camp at Center Parcs in December All remaining money must be paid by 1st August - NO LATER!

RULES & REGULATIONS
Can all students/parents make sure mobile phones are switched off before entering the training hall as this causes a distraction to the Instructor and to the students. Thank you.

Can all students make sure that any jewellery is removed before training or covered up with tape.

Any T.shirts (if worn) under your dobuk - must be white only with no pattern.

A big thank you to all of students who have been helping.out on the demos we’ve had recently We wouldn't be able to put these demos on without your help. Thankyou !!!

TO ALL STUDENTS / PARENTS - LOUGHBOROUGH CLUB VENUE MOVED

As from next Wednesday 22nd June we will be training back in our 'old' hall permanently - Wednesdays & Sundays which has just been refurbished, with new changing rooms/showers etc.
This hall is situated just further up from the building we train in at the moment.
You can park closer to the new premises but will have to drive round to the other end of Radmoor Road as a bollard prevents you from driving up through the car park.
From July - this will be full time

OTHER CHANGES
Syston club - As from Sunday 7th August – all Sunday classes will be – 4-5pm (beginners up to blue tag) / 5-6pm (blue belt & above)
There will be no 6-7pm class.

Seminars
Master Don Atkins-7th Degree - Loughborough 4-6pm on: 3rd September.
12th November - Master Ron Sergiew-8th Degree - Loughborough 4-6pm.

Mountsorrel – Friday nights - There will be no more sparring sessions on the 1st of the month - instead, the 1st Friday in every month will be for those that enter competition for patterns – including coloured belts -
cost of £8.00 per person for a one & half hour session - 7.30-9.00pm
1st 20 places ONLY !
These classes will be held by either James McKenna or Mr Freer & working on your pattern for competition.

Students who train must attend 2 training sessions on Saturday & Sunday morning 9.30-11.30am.
Be prepared for any weather-wear suitable clothing for training as we do train outside !!!
The rest of the day is yours !!!
Non-students who don't train can go & enjoy themselves in the fantastic surroundings !!!
Students will be allocated to villas of 6 - as families or friends.
Cost £85 per person - non returnable deposit of £50 per person to be in by 1st March.
No charge for under 2's.
